Yan Chen, Professor of Digital Screening in the University of Nottingham School of Medicine received this fellowship at a ceremony in London from the President of the Royal College of Radiologists (RCR), Dr Katharine Halliday on 28th June 2024. This prestigious award is only available to non-Fellows of the RCR and is awarded to those individuals who have made exceptional contributions in their field of expertise. Professor Chen’s academic work continues to help shape screening policies in national and international radiology schemes.
Professor Chen said, “This fellowship is not just a personal milestone, it is a testament to the power of collaboration and the importance of embracing perspectives within the medical community. I look forward to continuing my involvement with the college and contributing to its mission.”
